Jordan Smith has been wowing the judges and the word from the moment of his audition with Chandelier and hasn’t been out of the top singers since that time and Tuesday night December 15, 2015, he was the winner of “The Voice”. From the moment of his four chair turn his life has changed so much that he can’t quite believe it.
Adam’s words really encapsulate how everyone feels when they listen to this talented young man sing.
From the moment I met you I said this… It’s important what you do you lift people, you lift me every time I hear you sing.. it’s an experience. Who you are is truly above and beyond anything I could ask for on the show and beyond, you really astonish me every single day. Adam Levine
In “The Voice” history, no one has consistently been perfect on every performance and gone through without there ever being a chance that he wouldn’t. Even though Adam was the last chair to turn, picking him as his judge was a great choice by young Mr. Smith. The only thing that could have made this season even more perfect would have been a video of coach Adam’s Levine’s reactions watching the entire performances. Watching his face along with Pharrell’s being blown away every week was highly entertaining. Gwen was always the same, in tears and hoping her waterproof makeup was working.
Emily Ann was such a sweet young lady and a class act until the end. Check out her Instagram message to Jordan after he won. The photo is also in the photo gallery.
What an honor to be the last one standing on stage with @jordansmithlive tonight. You are so kind and such a joy to be around. I’m so so proud of you and cannot wait to see what the future holds!! Love you and couldn’t be happier for you. Emily Ann

Jordan’s bio on iTunes reads like someone who has already won. “On the ninth season of The Voice, one contestant stood out from the start. Jordan Smith of Harlan, Kentucky, auditioned with his take on Sia’s “Chandelier,” which resulted in standing ovations from all four judges. Although he got a hug from Gwen Stefani, he ultimately chose Adam Levine’s team. Prior to the show, Smith honed his talents as a singer with the Lee University Singers as a soloist, section leader, and eventually, vice-president of the ensemble, performing for both President Barack Obama and the Vatican.
