Jodie Sweetin has come a long way in her life, but Miley Cyrus wanted to have some fun at Jodie’s expense. Fox 8 News, March 9, 2016, reported that Miley’s jokes backfired big time and her fans have accused Miley of cyber bullying Jodie.
Jodie Sweetin has been clean and sober for five years, yet Miley Cyrus took it upon herself to post pictures of Jodie from her partying days and her fans are calling her out on it. Miley posted an unflattering, distasteful picture of Jodie, including one picture, where Jodie straddled a man and Miley had photoshopped Dave Couliers’ face, over the another man’s face.
She told her Instagram followers, “Current Mood #fullerhouse only you freaks take this as shaming! To me it looks like Stephanie is having a f***ing gay ol time!”
So how is Jodie Sweetin handling Miley Cyrus’ attack on her? She is handling it very well and she even took the high road in her reply to E!.
“I don’t pay attention to negative stuff. I have so much good stuff going on in my life right now that I try not to pay attention.”
Jodie Sweetin does have a lot going for her right now with the comeback series “Fuller House,” and she will also take part in the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars.” Jodie has two children and she recently became engaged to Justin Hodaka who makes her very happy.
Jodie Sweetin wrote a memoir, “unsweetened” and she tells about her addiction to meth and alcohol. She told People, “I speak about my experience growing up in the entertainment business, what my life was like after, some of the struggles and things I went through and where my life is today. It’s a story with a message of second chances and turning things around and being able to overcome some adversity.”
Miley Cyrus, who used to play the role of Hanna Montana, followed in her dad’s chosen career of singing. She sang “Wrecking Ball” and in the video, she sits naked and straddles a wrecking ball as it swings across the set.
Miley Cyrus has targeted many people in her attacks on their past and/or current lifestyle, but this time, she centered on someone that people respect and love. Perhaps this will be a lesson to Miley to be more careful in whom she goes after.
People posting on Miley Cyrus’ Instagram page condemned her for this picture and many told her to clean up her own yard before casting stones at other people, as in this case, Jodie Sweetin who cleaned up her act and has been clean and sober for five years.
