This time of the year here in Florida one can find an outdoor food festival, craft fair, art show or flea market almost every weekend. If you like to visit all these different types of events, here is a combination event that has all of these rolled up into one.
On April 16 – 17, 2016, the Indian River Nautical Flea Market and Seafood Festival and the Marine and Wildlife Art Show and Craft Fair will be held at the Indian River Fair Grounds 7955 58th Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida 32967. This is a two-day event where anglers and boaters and lovers of all things nautical explore vendor and seafood booths and attend demos and seminars.
Who does not enjoy a good flea market? Visitors will enjoy strolling through Indian River Fairgrounds and scope out all the fishing and boating gear for sale. You just might find marine-themed art and new and used fishing or boating equipment, including rods, kayaks, and lures of all kinds. In addition to the flea market, the seafood festival will have live reggae and island-style music and enough seafood to quench anyone’s appetite.
Co-located with the Indian River Nautical Flea Market and Seafood Festival is the Marine and Wildlife Art Show and Craft Fair. According to event organizers, “Some of the finest marine, wildlife and nature artists and craftsmen will be exhibiting and selling their work. Photography, acrylic and oil paintings, serigraphy, watercolor, jewelry, clothing, pottery, woodcarving, quilting, metalwork, leather workers and furniture will be exhibited and sold.”
