Australia’s top selling pop vocal quartet Human Nature, comprised of brothers Andrew and Michael Tierney and their best friends Toby Allen and Phil Burton, held the official Grand Opening of their new show, Jukebox, in the Sands Showroom at The Venetian on Thursday night, April 21.
The group, who have been Las Vegas headliners for the past 7 years, and created a sensation with their spin on some of Motown’s greatest hits, has expanded their repertoire with this new production by bringing the ultimate playlist to life. Aptly titled Jukebox, in this high energy show, Human Nature journeys back to the 50’s, 60’s and to the present with a mix of favorites from many different music genres including Doo Wop, Soul standards, and of course Motown, plus some contemporary hits like Pharrell Williams’s “Happy” and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”. On top of their amazing vocals and dance moves, Human Nature serves up a truly spectacular, entertaining show featuring excellent sound, lighting, graphics, video, a pair of superb dancers, all backed by the impeccable All Stars Band. Human Nature’s Motown show was great, and indeed worthy of all the raves, but Jukebox is even better. Put it on your must see list as one of the best shows in Las Vegas.
Human Nature has toured worldwide, released 23 best selling albums over their 25 year career span, have appeared on “Oprah”, “Dancing with the Stars”, “The Chew” and headlined their own PBS Special “Human Nature Sings Motown”. The Review Journal voted them “Best Singers” in their Best Of Vegas list. Their latest multi-platinum album of the same name, “Jukebox”, was the inspiration for the show.
On hand to celebrate the opening of Jukebox was a bevy of celebrities including: boxing champ Mike Tyson; Twisted Vegas star Alex Goude; magician Murray Sawchuck with stage assistant April Annenberg, and master slight of hand artist Douglas “Lefty” Leferovich; The Australian Bee Gees; chef Carla Pellegrino; dancers from FANTASY; female impersonator and star of Divas Las Vegas, Frank Marino; Absinthe’s Gazillionaire and Melody Sweets; Rock Of Ages cast member Becca Kotte; rocker John Payne of the group Asia; the hunky men of Thunder From Down Under; America’s Got Talent’s magic and music performers Jarrett & Raja; star of 50 Shades: the Musical Parody, Maren Wade; singers Skye Dee Miles and Vanessa LeGrand, among others.
“Jukebox” performs Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:00 pm in the Sands Showroom. Tickets can be purchased at the Sands Showroom Box Office.
