The Warriors vs. Thunder live stream online and TV coverage on Saturday will feature the league’s best overall team featuring a potential later round 2016 NBA playoffs opponent. Oklahoma City is currently third overall in the Western Conference, and with tonight’s home game, could show that they have what it takes to compete with a Golden State team that has lost only five times so far. The Thunder have lost seven times at home this season and will be coming off a recent loss there to the Sacramento Kings, while Steph Curry is coming off a record-setting performance. Tonight’s 2016 NBA live streaming online and televised coverage comes via ESPN and ABC networks.
According to USA Today in their Feb. 26 report, Stephen Curry has continued to achieve MVP-type performances, as he was able to hit two 3-point shots and several free throws down the stretch against the Heat this past Wednesday en route to a road win. Curry’s currently averaging 52.5 percent from the three-point area and recently broke Kyle Korver’s 127-consecutive games record with at least one three-point shot made. While Curry gets the majority of publicity, Draymond Green is also helping by leading the team with 9.6 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game. Tonight, Golden State faces what’s considered the toughest test of their seven-game road trip, after recently defeating the Magic in Orlando.
The Thunder are still considered amongst the best teams in the league, but tend to get a bit less press these days due to the fact Golden State is racking up wins in what could be a historic season. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook put in a solid night of work with 76 total points against the Kings, but still fell 123-119 at home. At 41-17, they continue to hold onto the third place spot in the West behind the Warriors and Spurs. Also of note, Oklahoma City allowed both Cleveland and New Orleans to shoot over 51 percent from the field against them in losses. If they allow that to Golden State, it would be a shocker to see a Thunder win on Saturday night. Durant continues to lead the team in both scoring and rebounding with Westbrook, a virtual triple-double threat any night, leading in assists.
Oklahoma City will find themselves as four-point underdogs at their home arena tonight, due to the fact the Golden State Warriors sport a league-best 52-5 record. All five of those losses have been on the road this season, but the team is on a four-game winning streak, all of which came away from their home arena. Against the spread, the Warriors are 34-22-1 overall and 19-14-0 on the road. Oklahoma City is 22-34-2 against the spread and 15-17-0 at home ATS. Tonight’s points total is at 235 points for the complete game, so this could be one high-scoring affair unless one team’s shooting is seriously off.
