The Warriors vs. Lakers live stream online and TV game will wrap up the 2016 NBA games schedule for Tuesday night. The farewell tour for superstar Kobe Bryant continues as his Los Angeles will compete against the hottest team in the league, the 32-2 Golden State Warriors. It’s been another disappointing campaign for the Lakers as they’re just 8-27 this season and looking like they’ll be far from the postseason when the regular season concludes. As for the Warriors, they look to be on track for another NBA Finals appearance and possible repeat title. Tonight’s 2016 NBA live streaming and televised coverage comes via NBA TV for fans to enjoy.
An LA Times report on Jan. 5 reported that both Kobe Bryant and rookie guard D’Angelo Russell are listed as “questionable” heading into tonight’s game. Kobe hasn’t played for the past two games now due to a sore shoulder, while Russell is dealing with a sore throat. The Lakers’ draft pick was said to be visiting a doctor this afternoon for a further diagnosis. Neither play participated in the Tuesday morning shoot around. If Kobe doesn’t play, rookie Anthony Brown will take his place in the lineup, while Russell’s replacement had yet to be named by coach Byron Scott. The good news for L.A. seems to be that they have played great without Kobe in the lineup as Lou Williams and Larry Nance Jr. helped the team rout Phoenix on Sunday.
Golden State comes into this game with Stephen Curry having just dealt with his own injury issues which sidelined him in several games. One of those was the team’s second loss of the season to the Dallas Mavericks. Forward Draymond Green has been playing remarkably as of late, recording several triple-double games in succession. Green will be trying for his fourth-straight triple-double tonight which would be a Golden State record. He recently tied the three-straight triple doubles by Tom Gola set back in 1959-60 season. Golden State has won three-straight games and has scored at least 111 points in their last five games.
Golden State has been 20-13-1 against the spread overall this season and 11-5-1 ATS on the road. The Lakers have been 15-20 overall ATS and just 6-7-0 ATS at home. For tonight’s game, the Warriors are 14-point favorites at many sports books, with the over/under points total at 212 for the complete game. On the future odds list, Golden State is still the favorite to win the 2016 NBA Finals with odds of 7 to 5, followed by the Cavaliers at odds of 14 to 5 and the Spurs at 7 to 2 odds.
