The Warriors vs. Grizzlies live stream online and televised 2016 NBA game will see Golden State trying to keep their chances alive of breaking the all-time single season record. As it stands, they’re at 70-9 on the season with three games remaining. They’ve already joined Chicago’s 1995-96 Bulls team as a 70-win team, but will they edge them out with 73 wins? Two games against Memphis and one at San Antonio, both of whom will be in the postseason, will tell the story. Tonight’s 2016 NBA live streaming and televised coverage comes via ESPN networks.
According to ESPN.com in their April 8 report, Golden State has already wrapped up the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, which based on how their record looks, also means home court throughout the entire playoffs. With three games remaining, all against teams heading to the postseason, it’s been mentioned that head coach Steve Kerr might want to give his key players some rest and avoid injury. However, many of those players seem to be eyeing a record of 73-9 which would give them the most wins in a single season of the NBA. Kerr was quoted as saying, “I’ve sort of made a pact with the guys that if they are not banged up and they are not tired and if they want to go for this record or whatever then — so we got to talk.”
First up on the remaining schedule is an away game at Memphis. The Grizzlies (42-37) are currently holding the No. 6 spot in the West, but are just a half game behind No. 5 team Portland. Having the higher spot could mean a first round matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers rather than the Oklahoma City Thunder. Memphis comes into this matchup having lost at Dallas 103-93 the other day. As of right now, the Grizzlies may be the team struggling most heading to the postseason, having lost seven of their last 10 games including three at home. If they continue to lose it could ultimately see them drop as low as No. 8 in the West, giving them a first round series against tonight’s potential NBA history makers.
The point spread first opened at 11 points in favor of the visiting Warriors and has since moved up as high as 13 points at various books. Mike Conley is among the Grizzlies who won’t participate in tonight’s matchup. Against the spread, Memphis is just 16-23-1 at home and 35-43-1 overall, while Golden State is 21-17-1 on the road and 44-33-2 overall. For the over/under points total, bettors are contemplating 210 points at various books for the complete game.
