Fans will watch Seahawks vs. Panthers live stream online and televised 2016 NFL Playoff game coverage on Sunday afternoon to kick off the first of the two final Divisional round games. No team had a better overall record than the Carolina Panthers this season, who earned the No. 1 seed for the NFC Playoffs. They’ll take on the team that’s arguably the hottest in the NFL right now, the Seattle Seahawks, who were the runner-up team in last year’s Super Bowl. They’re now two wins away from returning to that game and with many of their key personnel healthy, they could have the makings of an upset victory at Bank of America Stadium. The 2016 Seattle – Carolina live streaming and televised game coverage arrives through FOX Sports networks on Sunday.
On Jan. 16 FOX Sports website reported that the Seahawks have won four out of five matchups against Carolina, including a crucial 31-17 win in the playoffs last postseason. That particular game was held at Seattle’s Century Link Field, while this year’s will be hosted in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Panthers have an 11-game home winning streak going into this NFC Divisional game and also the confidence of defeating Seattle 27-23 in Week 6 of this latest NFL season. Cam Newton has pretty much won the NFL MVP award this season in many people’s minds and could guide his team to the NFC Championship game. However, some analysts are pointing out that Seattle has become much scarier than they were back in the Week 6 loss, with several key players who are healthy again.
That includes running back Marshawn Lynch, who has not played in a game since Week 10. Lynch participated fully in practice for the second-straight week and all indications are pointing towards “Beast Mode” being unleashed on the field. The Panthers will also have their running back Jonathan Stewart back after being sidelined three games with a foot injury. However, a key player returning to the Seahawks defense is Bobby Wagner, who missed the previous matchup against Carolina. Wagner had 114 total tackles this past season and could cause problems for Cam Newton and the Carolina offense. It all comes down to one question: Will the Panthers be able to prove to the world they can take out a top notch opponent in the postseason?
Vegas odds makers first listed Carolina as three-point favorites on the point spread, but the number has dropped as low as two points in their favor at some books. On the moneyline, the Panthers are -128 home favorites, while Seattle is just a small +118 underdog on the road. The points total for this game is 44 points for over/under bettors. On the future odds list, Carolina ranks third behind New England and Arizona with odds of 5 to 1 to win the Super Bowl, while Seattle is a spot below them at 11 to 2 odds.
