Sunday’s Giants vs. Vikings live stream online and televised matchup will be the featured Sunday Night Football game on the Week 16 schedule for the 2015 NFL season. New York has already been bounced from playoff contention, with Minnesota (9-5) holding onto the final Wild Card spot in the NFC. An upset win by the Giants could go a long way towards making next week’s games even more interesting in the NFC as Atlanta is now 8-7 on the season and trying to grab the Vikings’ playoff spot. Sunday night’s 2015 NFL live streaming and TV coverage will come via NBC Sports networks for viewers to enjoy.
A Dec. 26 preview from Fox Sports, Minnesota could possibly wrap up the final spot in the playoffs if Seattle can get a home win against the Rams on Sunday afternoon. If the Seahawks fail to get that done and the Vikings fail to win Sunday Night Football, it leaves the door open for the Falcons to have a shot at the final playoff spot next week. Minnesota can possibly get their first NFC North division title since 2009 by winning their two remaining games. Next week’s will be against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, while tonight’s is against Eli Manning and the Giants.
Coming into this game, New York will be without their star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. The brash receiver lost his cool in last week’s loss against the Carolina Panthers, which included him drawing three personal foul penalties. One of those was a diving “helmet-to-helmet” hit on Panthers’ cornerback Josh Norman. The result was Beckham Jr. being suspended for this game. Last night, the Giants also saw their playoff chances disappear as Washington defeated the Eagles in Philadelphia. While that makes this game meaningless for them playoff-wise, they’ll play with pride on the line. A New York win could also make things a whole lot more interesting for next week’s last games on the schedule.
Minnesota currently ranks among the top 10 teams in the league on the futures list to win Super Bowl L in February 2016. The Vikings have odds of 40 to 1 to win it all, while New York is no longer a contender due to being out of playoff contention. For tonight’s game, they’ll be seven point home favorites, after first opening as four-point favorites. The points total for this one currently sits at 45 points for the complete game for those interested in the over/under wager.
