Monday’s Giants vs. Dolphins live stream online and televised matchup will be the featured Monday Night Football game on the 2015 NFL Week 14 schedule. Both teams are still well within the playoff chase and needing a victory in this matchup. In particular, New York will try to keep pace with Washington and Philadelphia who each had Sunday wins. Miami, which has a 2-3 home record, is still in the hunt, but are trying to keep up with Houston, Buffalo and Oakland. Fans can watch the 2015 NFL live streaming and televised coverage thanks to ESPN networks Monday.
On Dec. 13 Fox Sports reported that Giants’ coach Tom Coughlin could have his fate riding on tonight’s game, as his New York team has failed to make the playoffs the past three seasons. However, to his credit, they also achieved two Super Bowl titles. Now Coughlin will try to guide them to a much-needed win on the road to keep pace with division leaders Washington and Philly, who both sport 6-7 records right now. Just last week, New York fell 23-20 to the Jets in overtime, after blowing a fourth-quarter lead of 10 points. Some question Coughlin’s decision to go for it on a fourth-and-2 situation in the game, rather than getting the field goal.
For Miami, they’ll enter this matchup off a close win, 15-3 over Baltimore just last weekend. Miami’s offense struggled though as they had a total of 219 yards and eight first downs. A bright spot was they held the Ravens to just 94 yards on 26 carries on the ground in that game. The Dolphins have ranked at or near dead last in rushing defense for most of the season. New York ranks 26th in the league in that category so it may not be an issue, unless they choose to exploit that hole in the defense tonight. As of right now, Miami is considered in the hunt for a playoff berth, but it would take work as Pittsburgh is above them, Buffalo, Houston and Oakland.
Vegas odds makers first started the line for this game as a “pick em” situation but the line has since moved to about a point in favor of the visitors. On the moneyline, New York is a -103 favorite, while the Dolphins are priced at +107 as slight home underdogs. Monday’s points total is at 47 points for the game for over/under bettors. Neither team is officially a lock for the playoffs, which will make tonight’s matchup so much more crucial. Future odds have New York as a 50 to 1 favorite to win the Super Bowl, showing they still are being praised due to experience.
