It’s been proven that the right technology paired with great instruction can improve one’s golf game. This has been put into practice for many years at the golf-rich Reynolds Lake Oconee just west of the Atlanta metro area. The hub of golf instruction at Reynolds and in the state of Georgia is The Reynolds Kingdom of Golf, presented by TaylorMade and it is ready for the 2016 golf season, starting March 15, 2016, as it is offering some new and enhanced technology.
The great partnership between Reynolds Lake Oconee and TaylorMade continues with a focus on full-game improvement and features found nowhere else. The Reynolds Golf Academy, under the direction of Top-100 golf instructor Charlie King, has been improved to the point where every aspect of the game and swing will be studied. This is a full integration of The Reynolds Kingdom of Golf into all that is offered by Reynolds Lake Oconee.
Technology now includes the TaylorMade MATT-T system and the instant gratification received by the building of clubs in the onsite PGA Tour-like TaylorMade Tour Trailer. Two fully enclosed hitting bays, three covered and heated hitting areas, high tech TrackMan 4 launch monitors, and high-speed Ximea cameras are all part of the expansion that will benefit golfers from all over the region and country. This is all part of the $40 million investment being made in renovations at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
“Game improvement is a cornerstone of the Reynolds lifestyle,” explains Mark Lammi, Vice President of Golf Operations for Reynolds Lake Oconee, which has assumed ownership and operation of The Kingdom. “By extending our long-time partnership with TaylorMade and adding in the world class instruction of Charlie King’s team, we will have one of the most premier game-improvement centers in the country.
Over the years, The Kingdom has hosted PGA and LPGA players for fittings and equipment testing. The Kingdom offers a unique opportunity for recreational golfers to get the same treatment the professionals get when it comes to trying the latest golf equipment.
Completing the golf experience, Reynolds Lake Oconee offers award-winning golf courses designed by legendary architects Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Rees Jones, Bob Cupp, and Jim Engh. Reynolds is conveniently located about an hour from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Located adjacent to The Kingdom, The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee is a beautiful 251-room lakefront resort and spa, that has been named a 2015 AAA Five Diamond Lodging and 2014 Forbes Four-Star resort.
