J.K. Rowling may have been rejected by publishers both pre and post “Harry Potter” but, the creator and author of the famous “boy who lived” can laugh all the way to the bank as Harry Potter and the whole Hogwarts gain continue to be a worldwide sensation! On April 7, 2016, Universal Studios Hollywood officially opens “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” following the highly successful launch of the same franchise in Universal Studios Florida in 2010.
The California park will feature many of the same rides and attractions as it’s Florida counterpart, and, park goers should be prepared to fork out a small fortune for the Harry Potter experience. Just last month Universal Studios raised ticket prices by 20% with general admission tickets ranging between $90 to $115 per person for visitors over three years of age. If you wish to upgrade to Front of the Line tickets prices soar to $179 to $239 per person!
The good news? If you can call it that is the fact that Universal Studios Florida park goers claim it is well worth the price of admission. That is, of course, you are a fan of the Harry Potter franchise. Those unfamiliar with the characters and story are bound not to be as enchanted as those Muggles and Wizards who thrive on it.
