The Grizzlies vs. Warriors live stream online and televised matchup is one of several marquee matchups late on the Wednesday 2016 NBA schedule. For Golden State, they’ve already secured home court advantage throughout all of the playoffs with the top record in the league. However, just one more win puts the Warriors in sole possession of the NBA’s single season wins record. A home victory over Memphis gives Golden State win No. 73, which many contended wouldn’t be broken at this late point in the season. However, two wins over San Antonio and one over Memphis recently showed otherwise. This historic 2016 NBA live streaming and televised game will be presented through the ESPN networks on Wednesday.
According to Fox Sports in their April 13 report, Stephen Curry and the Warriors were able to hand San Antonio their first loss of the season this past Sunday night 92-86. Curry finished with 37 points to help his team stop a 33-game losing streak at San Antonio’s home court. It also ended the Spurs’ bid for setting the NBA record for no home losses in a season, and continued Golden State’s quest for that record-setting 73rd win. Curry recently told the media that “It’s our last regular-season game, our last tuneup before the playoffs and nobody wants to lose their last game going into the playoffs if you can avoid it, and obviously 73. We want to get that number. Why not?”
They’ll try to get No. 73 against a 42-39 Memphis Grizzlies team that is also headed for the postseason and also about to set a record of their own. No team in the history of the NBA has made it to the playoffs having used more than 23 players over the course of the regular season. Memphis used a record-setting 28 players this past season due to all the injuries their team suffered. Among the most glaring injuries were big man Marc Gasol and guard Mike Conley. No matter what happens in tonight’s game, Memphis will at least have the comfort of knowing they won’t face this Warriors team in the first round of the playoffs, as the Grizzlies will finish at either sixth or seventh in the West.
The point spread for this possible history-making game is currently at 19 points in favor of Golden State at home. Against the spread, Memphis has been 13-17 as the underdog and 19-21 away, while Golden State is 42-31-2 as a favorite and 23-16-1 at home ATS. On the moneyline, the Warriors are a whopping -9900 favorite to win, while the Grizzlies are +2000 underdogs. Memphis comes in having lost nine of their last 10 games, one of which was a recent 100-99 loss at home to Golden State. The over/under points total is at 213 for the complete game. The Warriors continue to lead all teams as the favorite to win the NBA Finals. Vegas Insider’s NBA future odds list shows Golden State as 1 to 2 favorites to win it all, with Memphis listed as a 750 to 1 longshot.
