Doretta, a derivative of the Greek word “Doro” (meaning “gift”) is Boston’s first stylish Greek Taverna. Opened this Fall at 79 Park Plaza at The Heritage On the Garden, Doretta embodies the simple, approachable, and bold flavors that make Greek cuisine so popular. Award-winning Chef Michael Schlow pays homage to his wife Adrienne’s family’s recipes with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced, Greek cooking. The menu features delicious and deceptively simple Greek dishes where guests will find everything from fresh whole fish, tender grilled octopus, traditional village salad, to slow roasted lamb shoulder.
