Cara Delevingne is a woman of many talents, as she is the face of Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Mulberry and even Jason Wu. Delevingne dipped into the big screen in 2012 before landing her first lead role in the 2015 hit movie Paper Towns as Margo. Delevingne stunned the red carpet earlier this evening in a very chic, tailored Balmain suit. Recently, the stunning supermodel teamed up with celebrity makeup artist Molly R. Stern for an amazing makeup look to complement her outfit.
“Delevingne wore an incredibly tailored suit by Balmain, so my goal was for her skin to reign and her eyes to pop while rocking a modern lip that separated her from the rest,” celebrity makeup artist Molly R. Stern said about the makeup look. “The girl knows how to have fun, and encourage immense creativity. As always, working with her was a joyful blast!” Stern shared.
So, is it possible to re-create this amazing makeup look? Absolutely.
First and foremost, the celebrity makeup artist prepped the model’s face. To prep Delevingne’s skin, Stern massaged the RéVive Intensité Moisture Serum Extrême. She continued by also massaging in the RéVive Intensité Crème Luster Day. “These products are so amazng!” Stern added.
As Stern continued, she applied the Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation in Vanille to Delevingne’s face. For the cheeks, Stern continued with this makeup look by applying the Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Praline followed by the Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in Seduction. This works amazingly to warm up the cheeks.
For the eyes, painted Delevingne’s eyelids using Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Peach. Then, using a spot of dew, Stern applied the Jillian Dempsey Lid Tint Satin Eye Shadow Lid Tint in Lilac. Taking the True Isaac Mizrahi Liquid Eye Definer in Caviar, Stern tightly lined the Paper Towns star’s upper and lower lash line right before gently smudging the Laura Mercier Matte Eye Colour in Deep Night. This is one of Stern’s staples. Stern curled the model’s lashes and then, applied the two coats of Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara in Blackest Black.
Let’s face it, Delevingne has some of the greatest eyebrows ever. In fact, she is known for them. As Stern continued, she painted on the Laura Mercier Brow Definer. This product works amazingly for both hold and dimension.
For the lips, Stern applied the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Stripped onto Delevingne’s lips. Right before Delevingne was about to leave, Stern dusted on the Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Foundation Powder in Shade 5. Stern shared, “She left looking stunning. Shocker, I know, not sure how anyone could mess that up!”
Congratulations! You have just created the beautiful Cara Delevingne’s makeup look for the 2016 MTV Movie Awards.
