Being a redhead definitely has some perks like silky smooth never blemishing skin and Susan Sarandon’s is no exception as seen when she hit the red carpet this past weekend for the 2016 SAG Awards where she was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie. As a nominee, Susan wore an ivory tuxedo jacket and matching trousers with a peek-a-boo black bralette underneath which she paired up with both nude peep toe shoes and a nude clutch. For her makeup, celebrity makeup stylist Amy Nadine created a super chic and flirty look using products by L’Oreal Paris. Here’s how she created Susan Sarandon’s look for the evening.
Step 1: First thing Amy did was to prep Susan’s skin with Revitalift Volume Filler Serum ($24.99), taking her time to gently massage all the product in. Next, Amy applied Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Day Lotion and Eye Balm ($19.99 each) to her face. Once she was done she then applied True Match Super Blendable Liquid Foundation ($10.95) all over.
Step 2: For Susan’s cheeks, Amy started by applying Visible Lift Blur Blush in Soft Peach ($12.99). Amy then highlighted Susan’s cheekbones with True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator in Rose ($12.99). Instead of using a powder to set Susan’s makeup, Amy opted instead to use Revitalift Miracle Blur ($24.99) which she applied with a sponge to spot treat and mattify the T-zone area.
Step 3: Next Amy went to work on Susan’s eyes using the Colour Riche Dual Effects Eyeshadow Quad in Perpetual Nude ($9.99). She used the darkest shade in the crease of Susan’s eyes to create a strong contour and the added the peachy color all over the eyelids.
Step 4: To line the eyes, Amy used Colour Riche Eyeliner in Black Brown ($8.95). From there, Amy created wispy eyelashes by using Superstar Mascara ($10.99), first by applying lash primer, and then using the mascara. To complete the eyes, Amy used the Brow Stylist Prep & Shape Pro Kit ($14.99) on her eyebrows using only the pigmented wax and the setting powder.
Step 5: To complete Susan’s red carpet look, Amy wanted a vibrant flirty lip which she accomplished by using Colour Riche Lipcolour in Wisteria Rose ($8.95).
