“I wanted to give you a brilliant quote,” says Zoltan Bathory (Five Finger Death Punch guitarist) “about trying to keep rock music alive by assembling bills that can sell out arenas where everyone can have the production rock shows deserve, or bringing out new talented bands and expose them to huge crowds… or about rebuilding a community with the help of rock radio, and donating to good causes while we are at it… but we are so busy doing it that I ran out of quotes”.
Five Finger Death Punch are supporting their latest entitled, “Got Your Six” (released September 3rd, 2015). This highly-acclaimed album hit new heights for the band around the world with its sales debut. Chart-topping debuts in US – #1 on Top Album chart, #1 on Overall Digital Album chart, and #1 on the Hard Music Album chart, combined with #2 on the Billboard Top 200 for the band’s impressive showing of nearly 115k records sold in the first week of release. This was the first #1 Album for the Las Vegas hard-rockers. The band has grown exponentially in just a few years, racking up 15 consecutive Top 10 Hits, 5 #1 Hits and 5 Gold albums.
The band recently received the prestigious ‘Soldier Appreciation Award’ from The Association of the United States Army. “The Soldiers Appreciation Award is something very special.” states Bathory. “The only musician ever to receive this was Elvis Presley. Clearly what we have to say resonates with a lot of veterans and a lot of service members. To know that we are reaching people and touching their lives with our music is very rewarding, and to me this really is the sole purpose of being a musician — to be able to make a positive impact in somebody’s life.” The award was founded in 1950 by the then newly founded AUSA. This was based on having Germany and Europe stationed US troops that had a hard standing in the public. The soldiers had been under hard pressure and so the AUSA founded the Award to honor the organizations and/or people who supported the troops to make their daily life more easy and comfortable.

Shinedown are supporting their latest entitled, “Threat to Survival” (released September 17th, 2015). The band released a single, “State Of My Head,” that marked yet another milestone in the band’s historic run of chart topping hits. The track reached #1 at Mainstream Rock outlets in the US – their 10th single to top the chart. “State Of My Head” continued a record-setting streak in which every one of the 20 singles released over Shinedown’s decade-plus career ascended to the top 10 – a feat unmatched by any other rock band, now or ever before.
“Shinedown has always been about sharing the undeniable power of rock music,” says Shinedown frontman Brent Smith. “And performing live is where we make that connection most directly, where we can truly experience that power together with our fans in its purest form because we are literally sharing the same physical space, living in that moment as one. Five Finger Death Punch shares that passion and commitment, and, like us, leaves it all out on the stage every single night. Come experience the power of rock music with us.” [from Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown Tour press release]
