When you hear the word bravery what comes to mind? Who is someone that reflects bravery back to you? What was your bravest moment? I can think of hundreds of well written stories my favorite real life story is the one of Joan of Arc. How brave of her to go and tell grown men that what she is seein and being told by someone not of this plane at all. My first thought is that the message must have been taken well and without qualm. And my second thought is a king in all of his glory and glory of the church to endorse him would not welcome the message so. Just think of how such a message would be received today, and the entire social media huff n’ puff. Well they didn’t have social media then so the news traveled slower, light years slower. It may have been easier for the king to meet with her in secret and keep it that way for a time. What politician in today’s world would let a young girl lead his army? No matter what her message and how much they believed would they let her lead them?
“Out of nowhere this gust of wind. Brushed my hair and kissed my skin. I aim to hold a bridled pace. When with love itself I came face to face.”
Faith and belief it would take truckloads of it to move a man to follow such a lead. What kind of faith must a king who rules nations have? Would the people believe? They killed her in the end for blaspheme and being a heretic. You could not kill someone for that these days. Paramahansa Yoganandi says, ”The true basis of religion is not belief but intuitive experience. Intuition is the soul’s power of knowing God. To what religion is really all about, one must know God.”
“Pulling back the reins, trying to remain tall in the saddle. When all we had ran away with a will of its own.”
Truth. Science tells some people what to believe in and breaks down the universe for us. Theory, experimentation, documentations, validation, and facts. Science up until now has said this is the way of the world and everyone now has a mind to believe different realities. Science says we are physical but we also know some scientist have done other experimentation and validation on the other part of us, the greatest part of us that is energy consciousness. What is the nothing that science cannot measure?
It is where experience happens. Do we need to be able to measure it? Because science has not figured out the way to measure it does not mean it does not exist. How brain is hardwired to see our experience in the material world, would this new science change the gene expression and thus change the experience as we know it? The idea that we create our own universe is not something most people want to take responsibility for. It is easier to push the “easy button” when we are told what to believe. It is easier for people to say it’s not my fault or my responsibility for what happens in this world to me or to other people.
“I know your soul is wild and free. Like this galloping inside of me. Tossed by instinct and where we land. Is vast and certain of all that’s planned.”
Language is a symbolic representation of experience. Sense experience is sound, its smell, color, texture, taste. It is a modified form of our awareness. So the word became the flesh. And so became me and mine and separation. We lost touch with who we really are. Now that we are on the brink some fear of extinction, now that people have pushed the material world to the edge as far as we can go, to GMO’s, to chemicals in our food, global warming. Reductionism has been overdone, particle this and particle that, and over analyzing and come back to the self. Feel the universe and embrace the universe.
Do we need to figure it all out when we are living effortlessly? Science and mankind needs to stop being in competition with other countries and stop the madness that is pushing us over the physical edge. If you reflect in silence on the Being within you and just being everything gets revealed to us. We do not need to go running to science for material proof. Our schools are teaching our children to a test, and because of that, for an example, the joy and creativity that is the gift of learning has been washed out. We cannot pretend to serve autism when we feel autism does not serve us. We need to pull back on the reins and sit tall in the saddle.
“You know I learned to break the run. And gently harness the love of someone. Yes, and equal parts of wait and trust, is in control of the both of us.” -K.D. Lang
The holistic story of our healing our houses of the holy. As we experience this wholeness, sacredness and mystery say what you mean. We are suffering and don’t you agree we have had enough. We must walk lightly and carefully on this plane. We are the creators for future generations to come.
