The 2016 Surf Expo is now history. This year’s expo produced a few surprises that were not expected, especially by Dub Box. On the opening day of the 2016 Surf Expo, the Orlando Business Journal published an article titled “5 Orlando-centric necessities from Surf Expo”. In this article it mentioned the Dub Box’s mini version of the classic VW camper. What a score for Dub Box on the first day of the show. Click HERE for a link to the article.
The Dub Box team that delighted Surf Expo visitors with Dub Box tours, were Heather Gardella and Theresa Stefanidis. They both were very excited to be attending Surf Expo for the first time and were really pumped about Dub Box being mentioned in the Orlando Business Journal’s article. When asked what they thought about the show, they both said that they thought that coming to Surf Expo was a real good strategic maneuver because it put the Dub Box classic VW camper in front of so many new potential customers. Throughout the show, the Dub Box floor display was filled with visitors. Heather and Theresa said that they would most surely consider coming back to Surf Expo.
In the Dub Box booth, there were two beautiful campers. The blue camper in the slide show photos was purchased by family in Tampa and was on loan for the Surf Expo. The orange camper would be returned to Oregon City, Oregon, the home of Dub Box. Check out the slide show to see photos from the 2016 Surf Expo.
The Dub Box comes in the original full size and a shorter version called the Dinky Dub. The Dinky Dub will be available in the spring of 2016. Because the Dub Box is built to order, you can get it in almost any color. You can even get a retro roof rack that looks like the original roof rack from the 1960s.
