Imagine the looks of awe on the faces of the children as they watch colorful Easter eggs fall from the sky. Now you can be part of this unique celebration taking place after Easter on Saturday, April 2 at The Farm at Walnut Creek’s annual Easter Adventure Egg Drop event located in Sugarcreek, Ohio in the heart of Ohio Amish country.
Thousands of eggs (in 5 colors) will be dropped and scattered on The Farm at Walnut Creek property by a helicopter as the children scramble and race to collect the eggs, redeem the eggs by color and earn a prize. It is not important how many eggs your child collects but it is important for the child to collect eggs of all five colors. The Egg Drop event is for children from ages 1-11 years. Parents of children 0-5 will be allowed to walk onto the egg drop field to assist their child in the collecting of the eggs. Each child will receive a prize.
Other activities at this event include taking a swing at a piñata, spending time in a giant corn box, participating in a scavenger hunt and taking part in a coloring contest. There will also be photos opportunities as the children get to hold and pose with the Farm’s rabbits.
Helicopter drop times this year will be at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
