Denver Restaurant Week begins Friday, February 26 and runs through March 6. Here are a few highlights from the list of participating restaurants.
Options from Zengo’s three-course menu include Thai chicken empanadas with mango-curry salsa; Bulgogi ribeye tacos; short rib udon noodle; crispy-skin salmon with ginger, baby beet, kale and pumpkin seed; lemongrass adobo chicken; and flourless chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse and passionfruit sauce. Timberline Steaks & Grille (DEN Concourse C) was the first ever airport restaurant to participate in Denver Restaurant Week, and will continue the tradition this year with a delicious three course menu for locals and travelers. Selections include Rocky Mountain Oysters, served with a pub sauce or cocktail sauce; Devils on Horseback, or, sweet dates stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in peach wood-smoked bacon; buffalo sirloin with mashed potatoes; elk medallions with Lingonberry preserves; grilled wild salmon topped with citrus butter; buffalo burger with queso blanco, roasted green chiles and chipotle aioli; caramel bacon donut holes; and banana Nutella bread pudding. Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grillis offering a three course meal for $30. The special includes a starter, an entree and a dessert, or a couple’s option will be offered for $50 that includes one starter, two entrees, and one dessert. Starter options include: grilled salmon cakes, sautéed brussels sprouts and pomegranate, spinach & pancetta Salad. Entree items include a pizza option, burger option, mahi mahi, oven roasted lamb shank, and beef tenderloin tips. For dessert guests can choose from Jameson Bing Cherry Bread Pudding or Black Butte Brownie.
Tamayo’s three-course menu includes quesadilla de tinga; a tamarind-marinated pork tenderloin with tomatillo-chorizo salsa; grilled salmon with mashed sweet potatoes; Manhattan steak with tequila mole; and tres leches bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream.For reservations, call (720) 946-1433.
Range’s Denver Restaurant Week menu includes; ranchero veggie enchiladas; roasted chicken with potatoes, squash and charred lemon; buffalo meatloaf; smoked skuna salmon; braised pork shank; and balsamic hangar steak with grilled peppers and mushrooms, blue cheese, arugula and polenta fries. Treat your tastebuds to a trip to Que Bueno! Mexican Grille. Experience its exclusive Denver Restaurant Week menu and the satisfying comfort of traditional Mexican food with a North of the Border twist. Que Bueno! Mexican Grille (DEN Concourse B) is Joining Timberline Steaks & Grille (DEN Concourse C) as a Denver Restaurant Week participant, Que Bueno! Mexican Grille at DEN will give even those who are only in Denver for a brief layover the chance to experience one of the nation’s largest restaurant weeks! Menu options include an appetizer of chips and queso, salsa or guacamole or nachos and entrées include a choice of burrito, enchilada, chile relleno, or a taco platter. With locations in both Northfield and Lone Tree, La Sandia’s Denver Restaurant Week menu includes braised beef flautas; shrimp ceviche; crispy shrimp tacos with grilled pineapple salsa; chicken mole; veggie chile relleno; churros with abuelita chocolate sauce; and chocolate tres leches with a house-blend of three-milks strawberry whipped cream and walnut brittle. Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House will be featuring a three-course menu. Guests will have the opportunity to choose from butternut squash gnudi with brussels sprouts; twice-baked sweet potato soup with Spanish chorizo; French foie gras mousse in a gingerbread cone; roast Scottish salmon with P.E.I. mussels; NY beef strip loin and short rib croquette; butter-poached Maine lobster with coconut pumpkin risotto; Tahitian vanilla bean cheesecake with cranberry compote; and Meyer lemon crème brûlée with huckleberry gel and salted pretzel.
