There are is a large population of dads which take their children to school, get them ready in the morning, feed them. help with homework, and even comb their little girls hair. But there are still many of those which call it babysitting when a father is caring for his children.
Well this is why the National At-Home Dad Network (NAHDN) created a T-shirt to remind the us all: “Dads Don’t Babysit (It’s called ‘Parenting’).”
According to teespring.com all proceeds go towards supporting the National At-Home Dad Network, a 100% volunteer-run 501c(3) non-profit, that provides support, education and advocacy for fathers who are the primary caregivers of their children.
ww.teespring.com also states, “Help the National At-Home Dad Network spread the message that a dad cannot babysit his own kids. If he’s caring for them, it’s called ‘parenting.’”
Its time for to give recognition to the dads, who are 100% involved in their child’s life and who do what they need to do in order to care for their families. Even if that means being an “At Home Dad”.
I will definitely be getting my husband one of these t-shirts!
