Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria is hosting a night of Cooking & Dining with Moretti’s Chef Mike Kubalewski on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and is located at 2475 W. Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates, just east of Barrington Road.
Learn by the best in the restaurant business and cook right along with Chef Mike Kubalewski and enjoy a generous taste of each dish, which includes salad (Italian style wedge), appetizer (Prosciutto Di Parma), a main entrée of Chicken alla Puttanesca and homemade Cannoli for dessert. In the demonstration classes, guests can learn by watching Chef Kubalewski prepare the menu while providing step-by-step procedures for the dishes so that each guest can learn and follow along. Guests are divided into groups of 6 and provided all needed ingredients and materials to prepare each course in unison with Chef Kubalewski. This relaxed, interactive format encourages informative discussions to help guests prepare the dishes with confidence at home. Once each course has been prepared, larger portions will be served to each guest along with an exclusive Moretti’s apron to take home. Guests will also receive a typed up recipe card along with a grocery list to prepare that courses at home.
The event is $39 per person and has limited seating. This is a great team building event, girl’s night out, or mother-daughter bonding night.
Chef Michael Kubalewski is a Schaumburg native and gained his passion for food and cooking at an early age. He graduated from the nationally acclaimed Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors of Arts in Food Service Management. He has earned the distinct AAA 5-Diamond award, and has successfully held the title of Sous Chef for Rivers Casino, Chicago-based Four-Star Restaurant Group, as well as Kitchen Manager for DOC B’S Fresh Kitchen. He has also participated and competed on season four of the Food Network competition show, Cutthroat Kitchen. Chef Kubalewski’s is currently the Corporate Chef for Ala Carte Entertainment where he has been offering his vast culinary experience and creative menu ideas to develop new restaurant concepts like Sweet Caroline’s Crab-N-Que.
Moretti’s is open for dining, as well as delivery, carryout and catering service from 11 a.m. through 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and until 11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday. Moretti’s pizza and Late Night Menu will be available until an hour before closing, 7 days a week. The bar will stay open until 3 a.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and until midnightSundays and Mondays with complimentary valet service every day.
