Recently, Hilton Worldwide and ANA Airlines celebrated 25 years of ANA’s non-stop service between New York and Japan with the launch of an innovative partnership. As of March 1, they began offering new culinary selections from executive chefs Albert Tse and Antonio Cardoso, from Conrad Tokyo and Conrad New York respectively, which are available in-flight between Tokyo and the United States, as well as in ANA Suite Lounges at Tokyo’s Haneda (HND) and Narita (NRT) Airports. They held an exclusive visual, cultural, and culinary event at Conrad New York in Battery Park to mark the pivotal occasion. Guests enjoyed origami-making lessons, small bites inspired by the new menus, assorted cocktails, traditional Japanese music and dance performances, and a look at the revamped business class seats on ANA flights.
For flights going from Tokyo to New York, business class passengers will enjoy culinary offerings such as Moroccan rubbed swordfish grill with farro salad, red pepper conserva and young corn, red wine braised short rib, and chocolate panna cotta with sweet blueberry compote and ricotta cheese cake with meyer lemon curd. For NY to Tokyo business class flights, passengers will enjoy flavorful dishes such as roasted branzino filet served with ratatouille vegetables and tomato saffron sauce, rosemary and herb-crusted beef tenderloin served with gratin of potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and dark chocolate mousse cake. For both sets of flights, a specialty cocktail inspired by New York City called The Conrad Gin Rickey will be available for a limited time. A special menu will also be prepared for First class and ANA Diamond Service passengers traveling through the ANA Suite Lounges at Haneda and Narita Airports.
Even after touch down, passengers can further enhance their experience with Conrad’s Stay Inspired Program a curated selection of 1, 3 and 5 hour experiences designed to help guests discover a destination through the lens of food, shopping, culture and more. It’s available at participating Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ properties, on the Conrad Concierge mobile app and at StayInspired.com.
This ground-breaking partnership showcases ANA’s commitment to unparalleled in-flight experiences and Hilton Worldwide’s commitment to exceptional and memorable hospitality experiences. Together, they aim to inspire passengers with their highlights of diverse and cultural offerings. Both Hideki Kunugi, senior vice president of ANA, The Americas and John Vanderslice, Global Head, Luxury And Lifestyle Brands, Hilton Worldwide were at the launch event to express their excitement and gratitude for this incredible partnership. The program is sure to invoke curiosity and further increase the excitement for traveling between Tokyo and New York!
