Saturday was actually a decent day after we eroded the clouds away by lunchtime; after a morning low of 47 at Philly Airport we did reach 64 in the afternoon. Granted it’s still five degrees below average, but the sunshine kept us in good spirits. There were higher clouds in the afternoon with clouds increasing overnight. Showers will push in from the west by Sunday morning with lows ranging from the lower 40s north to the upper 40s south.
Sunday itself will be cloudy and dreary with an onshore flow again; highs will be in the lower to middle 50s with 0.25-0.50″ of rain possible(best chance across Delmarva). Monday will remain cloudy with another wave of low pressure pushing through in the afternoon with more showers…..BUT we’ll have a west-southwesterly wind so highs will be in the 70s.
Tuesday will be….you guessed it! Cloudy with more showers! They will be on the light side with highs in the lower 60s and that continues into Wednesday as well. Thursday gets interesting as an upper level low gets cut off across the Northeast and then just pinwheels on top of us for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the lower 60s with heavy rain possible Friday into Saturday(which we’re still running 1-2″ below average so this should help erase that deficit.
