The Cavs vs. Pistons Game 4 live stream online and televised 2016 NBA Playoffs coverage comes Sunday night with LeBron James and Cleveland looking to close out the series. As it stands, they’ve got a 3-0 series lead with this fourth game taking place in Detroit and the Pistons trying to stave off elimination. Despite Detroit seeming to have regular season success against the Cavaliers, they’ve struggled in the playoffs. An opening game nearly looked like a possible upset, with the Pistons falling by five. In the next two games, double digit losses have them on the brink of being eliminated. Tonight’s 2016 NBA live streaming and televised playoff game will arrive through TNT networks.
According to ESPN in their April 24 game preview, LeBron had 20 points in the team’s Game 3 win along with 13 rebounds and seven assists. However, James shot just 8-for-24 from the floor in a dismal shooting performance. His “Big Three” teammates, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, combined for 46 points on 18-for-30 shooting. Irving also hit some key three-pointers late in the game to help Cleveland draw closer to moving to the second round. With the way the three star players have been playing and the fact that Irving and Love are healthy, it has Cleveland looking like a serious contender.
For the Pistons, they’re looking at possibly dropping their 10th-straight playoff game overall and their 12th in a row to Cleveland. Of note, despite the double-digit loss on Friday, Detroit was trailing by just a point at halftime. However, the Cavs managed to out rebound Detroit 46-32, a category the Pistons had been strong in this regular season. They were second overall in rebounding differential with plus-3.8 per game. Andre Drummond was a big reason for that, snatching nearly 15 per game. Head coach Stan Van Gundy summed up his team’s postseason issue saying, “Rebounding’s been one of our strengths all year. It’s been terrible in this series.”
Odds makers believe that tonight’s Cleveland’s night to close things out in Game 4 and advance, as they’re listed as six-point favorites on the spread. Against the spread this season, Detroit has been 18-18 as the underdog team and 21-18-2 at home. Cleveland is 33-38-1 as the favorite, and 20-21 ATS when playing away from home. For the moneyline tonight, Detroit is a +220 home underdog, while the Cavaliers are -260 favorites. The over/under points total is 198 points for the complete game.
