Depending upon the Carnival Cruise you choose to take, you may find yourself wondering if there are any romantic places to get something to eat. Being a family-friendly cruise line, chances are you will find more areas packed with families and lots of activities happening all around. But that does not mean that there are no places where couples can enjoy a quiet, peaceful meal together. Here are some of the more romantic dining options you will have available to you when cruising with Carnival Cruise Lines.
The day you spend at sea is time to enjoy what your Carnival ship has to offer. This is also the day when you can enjoy a classic Sunday-style brunch in one of the main dining rooms. The Seaday Brunch has everything you would expect from a brunch, including pancakes, waffles, eggs, breakfast sandwiches and so much more. If you get a chance, make plans to enjoy this sit-down meal before starting off your day exploring the ship.
From the main dining room for an additional $20 per person. Options include surf and turf or prime steakhouse selections. These premier meals are perfect for couples looking to enjoy a romantic dinner. If you do not mind waiting a bit, make a request to sit next to the window for a more romantic atmosphere. Though you might not be able to see out because it is evening, it still offers a romantic setting for couples.
The Lido Deck is not an area of the ship that you might think of as “romantic” and it is not. There are many others trying to get their food and kids are running around. So instead of getting your food and hanging around the Lido deck, grab it and go find a quiet place on the top deck to sit in a lounger and enjoy lunch together. There are many quiet areas of the ship where you can kick back and enjoy the ocean view together.
Enjoy a romantic afternoon in your cabin. You can choose to have room service deliver some snacks or you can order specialty items before departure to have delivered to your cabin the first night of the cruise. These specialty items may include chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. But if you are selecting from the room service menu, you must get the chocolate cake and 2 forks. Yummy!
The Chef’s Table
Enjoy a more intimate setting at the Chef’s Table during your cruise. There is an additional cost, but you do not want to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Dining at the chef’s table includes a backstage pass to what happens behind the scenes in the kitchen and a seven-course meal featuring the chef’s best dishes. Space is limited to only 14 guests, so make sure to make your reservations early to ensure you get a seat at the Chef’s Table.
There are a variety of different romantic dining options available when sailing aboard a Carnival Cruise ship. These locations make it possible to bring some romance to your cruise getaway. Just be creative and with a little searching you are sure to find the perfect romantic dining spot for the two of you to enjoy together.
Please note that these dining options are available on select ships and sailing itineraries. They are also subject to change at any moment.
