Activision and Infinity Ward’s next project has been getting a lot of limelight as of late, and today another supposed leak has surfaced. In this new leak, you can check out the photo above which showcases two of the options players will have when it comes to purchasing this year’s Call of Duty.
The pricing for the Standard Edition is $79.99, but that is not a reflection of the United States pricing, as it’s fair to all but confirm the game will cost $59.99 like usual. The Standard Edition will net gamers just this year’s game, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
For those who are interested in picking up the Modern Warfare remaster, they can pick up the Legendary Edition for $109.99, as the leaked poster suggests. What’s interesting in the poster above is there is no Xbox One version of the game, so perhaps this is an exclusive deal that Activision is offering PS4 gamers?
If this is a pre-order exclusive for PS4, then it would make you wonder a bit about the quality of the Modern Warfare remaster. You would assume that if Activision put resources into creating a true remaster, they would then sell it across PS4, Xbox One and PC.
There is also apparently going to be multiplayer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PS4, which if true pretty much assumes more people will be playing that multiplayer compared to Infinite Warfare’s. The poster also revealed there will be 10 multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare’s remaster.
As has been reported before, the game looks like it’ll be arriving on Nov. 4 of this year, though platforms were listed in the allegedly leak image. Take all of this with a grain of salt, but it looks like the next Call of Duty will indeed be Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and PS4 gamers have some excellent incentives to pick up the Modern Warfare.
