The Bulls vs. Rockets live stream online and televised 2016 NBA game will take place Thursday night with Chicago trying to climb their way into the Eastern Conference playoff standings. Houston is also clinging to one of the final spots in the West with the Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz both competing for those final two spots as well. The game arrives as trade rumors are swirling regarding Chicago’s top scorer, Jimmy Butler, but will those rumors hinder their goal of reaching the postseason? Tonight’s 2016 NBA live streaming and televised coverage will be available through the TNT networks for sports fans to enjoy.
According to Sports Illustrated in their March 31 report, Vertical’s Chris Mannix has indicated Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler could be on the move this off-season. So far the team which has expressed the most interest has been the Orlando Magic who at the moment are like the Bulls, on the outside looking in to the playoffs. Chicago, at 37-37 is at the No. 9 spot right now, and trails the No. 8 team Indiana by two games, as well as the No. 7 team, Detroit, by 2-1/2 games. A win tonight will certainly keep them alive for their postseason hopes, with seven more games to go in the regular season. Washington is also part of the chase, but currently is two games behind the Bulls at the No. 10 spot.
The Houston Rockets are currently among the top eight teams in the Western Conference and have a record of 37-38. However, they’ll want to keep pace as they have an identical record to the Utah Jazz, who are at the No. 8 spot, as well as the Dallas Mavericks, who are No. 9. Dallas is desperately trying to take one of those final remaining spots along with the Jazz and Rockets, making tonight’s game and the rest of the season’s record that much bigger. The Rockets have lost three of their last four games and have a 20-16 record when playing on their home court, while Chicago is just 13-23 in road games this season.
The point spread shows Houston as seven-point favorites tonight at home. Neither team has been remarkable against the spread, as Chicago is 33-41 overall and Houston is 33-4-1 overall. As the favorite, the Rockets are 15-25-1 ATS while Chicago is 16-17 as the underdog and 14-22 when playing away from home. On the moneyline, Chicago will be a +220 underdog while the Rockets are -260 favorites. The over/under points total is currently around 216 points for the complete game. Future odds at Vegas Insider indicate that Houston has odds of 100 to 1 to win the NBA Championship while the Chicago Bulls are 250 to 1 long shots at the moment.
