Sophisticated marijuana-growing operations found on Pike County properties where three children from ages four days, six month old, and three years old are the only survivors in brutal massacre. 16 old to 42 years old. Killers are still on the loose. The Rhodens were killed in an execution-style. Some of them in different houses near to each other. Since the investigation started it was discovered that pot is growing on three out of the properties involved in the killings.
A motive, no one knows of a motive but authorities suspect pot-growing is involved. The Pike County, are considered to be the most horrendous and brutal killings to take place Ohio. Whoever the killers are they have gone in to four separate homes to kill eight separate people in front of three babies. The Bureau of Criminal Investigations is involved. All of the surrounding police departments are involved. Anyone who knows anything at all is asked to call in and all tips will be followed up on. The public is urged to call even if you are not sure if it is information that has any value. Everyone is also asked to realize that the person or persons are on the loose and to be careful of your own safety because they are dangerous. The family of the Rhodens are asked to be particularly careful and to please keep their safety in mind.

The homes are not door-to-door they are miles apart. The police are taking every precaution they can to make sure that they are safe. In the perimeter that has been established it is about thirty miles of an area that the massacre happened in.
Students went back to school today in Pike county. Cincinnati-area business man Jeff Ruby has put out a $25,000 reward. Anyone who has the information the police need to put them in direct contact with the killers arrest and conviction are to get in touch with the police immediately. The police have already talked with about 30 people in the investigation and are following up every lead.
The First State Bank in Peebles has set up a fund to offset the costs for the family. The road is still closed While they collect more evidence. The homes where the bloody murders scene occurred in about 60 miles south of Columbus. The killers are said to most likely be a white male who is a cold-blooded killer and a vendetta against this family. The Rhoden family did not commit suicide.
