The FBI recently placed Brenda Delgado on the FBI’s Most Wanted List after attempts to find Delgado have not been an easy feat. Delgado’s cunning ways need to come to an end as she has been able to manipulate those around her in an orchestrated crime, which put her on the FBI’s Most Wanted List in the first place.
According to DB Techno News on April 8, Delgado is a 33-year-old woman who was scorned and she set out for revenge when the object of her affection found someone new. She is accused of manipulating a murder-for-hire scheme in the shooting death of a Dallas dentist. Kendra Hatcher was killed inside her apartment complex’s parking garage as she gathered belongings from her vehicle.
Both the suspects who Delgado is accused of hiring to shoot Hatcher have been arrested and are behind bars, while Delgado fled the area after a federal warrant was issued for her arrest last October. Less than a week before the murder of Hatcher, Delgado had become jealous when learning that her ex-boyfriend not only had a new girlfriend, but she found out they were planning on vacationing together in Cancun, Mexico. She also learned that her ex-boyfriend, who is a Dallas dermatologist, had even introduced Hatcher to his parents.
According to News Oxy today, “For months Brenda Delgado allegedly plotted to kill Hatcher. She was just waiting for the right opportunity, and the right people to carry it out,” the FBI said. She was a calculating woman and she had the patients to wait this out.
Another odd fact learned from the news story surrounding Delgado is that she is only the ninth woman to be placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted List since its creation in 1950. A total of 506 fugitives have been named to the list since it first posted and 474 of those suspects have been caught or located. Citizen tips have helped the FBI catch 156 of the 474 they have found.
Thomas M Class Sr. who is a special agent that is in charge of the Dallas division of the FBI said, “Although she didn’t pull the trigger herself, she is still responsible for the murder.” He also said, ““Brenda Delgado was able to effectively manipulate everyone she involved in her calculated scheme.” There is a $100,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Delgado today.
Delgado, who hails from Mexico, recruited one of her accomplices with promises of a steady supply of drugs through her cartel connections. This is not a woman you want to approach if you spot her. The FBI asks if you should see Delgado to contact their agency at 972-559-5000. If you spot her outside the U.S. they ask that you contact the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
