Beyoncé shocked fans once again this past Saturday with the debut of Lemonade, the superstar’s sixth studio album and second visual album.
The album was available to stream on Tidal on Saturday evening and the Lemonade film aired at 9pm on HBO. The album was available for purchase on iTunes the following day. Later in the week it became available for stream on Pandora and BBC’s iPlayer.
On Wednesday, Bey kicked off her Formation Tour in Miami. With her album having been out less than a week, Beyoncé was caught on video becoming overwhelmed with emotion when her fans sang along with her to her new track, ‘Hold Up,’ word for word.
The Formation Tour looks like it is set to be an amazing couple of months and a show fans everywhere are dying to see. Beyoncé concerts are definitely expensive, but she is such an amazing performer and puts on a great show. The costumes and fashion for the Formation Tour are off to a red hot start!
A few weeks prior, Beyoncé had launched her athletic leisure clothing line, Ivy Park. It has already been wildly successful. Fans were seen rocking new Ivy Park gear to the show on Wednesday.
Bey debut five new bodysuit outfits on the first night of her tour, flaunting her flawless legs in the Miami heat. She can be seen wearing mutton chop sleeve bodysuit which aligns well with the styling motif throughout the album: The whole deep south, old country look was a prominent theme throughout the visual theme.
Of course every outfit was handmade and designed especially for her, including the amazing white lace and silk outfits (featured in the photo album) from French couture house and Kardashian favorite, Balmain.
Beyoncé is flaunting the same long, curly tresses that she is seen with in most of the Lemonade film. The Formation Tour seems to have a great, fresh energy and people are really connecting to it on a personal level.
She also sported a sexy military, leather bodysuit with some thigh high boots in a sexy tiger print. The singer brought back a version of the backup dancer’s Gucci look from the Formation music video, but with white and red to match her own look.
Beyoncé should definitely consider turning some of her tour looks into a Ivy Park line. Do I hear Formation Line 2016? She has already snapped back at haters with a ‘Boycott Beyoncé’ t-shirt she is now selling at the shows on tour.
The patterns, the textures, the details; are visually spectacular and it looks like fans had a night they will never forget. It looks to be an incredible for The Formation Tour.
