There weren’t any superhero movies up for Oscars at last night’s awards, but Warner Bros. would obviously be elated if that changed next year with “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Ben Affleck appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s post-Oscars show and brought with him a brand new clip from the film, featuring some new footage of the fight between Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman.
It’s a pretty sweet clip showing Batman getting thrown around like a rag doll, crashing right through his Bat-Signal. Being the resourceful guy that he is, Batman has another trick up his sleeve even though it doesn’t look to have had much effect on the Man of Steel.
We’ve seen a lot from this fight already, and hopefully they aren’t giving away the epic clash everyone has been waiting a long time to see. Directed by Zack Snyder with Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Gal Gadot, Scoot McNairy, Holly Hunter, and Laurence Fishburne co-starring, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” opens March 25th.
SYNOPSIS: Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
