People get frustrated and turned off by a garden that is not growing well. It is easy to get excited in the beginning and you should be. Buy the right plants for your region. It is fun to experiment with a couple different varieties but your main stay vegetables and fruits will produce better for you. For high yields you will want to lay the tomato plant down on the ground sideways and the next day or two you will notice the end of the plant reaching upwards. Especially when you are working and producing you like to get in the habit of when break time is coming and you can get a drink of water and plants are like that too.
Compost is important too. It makes a difference in your tomato plants, trees, shrubs you name it. Depleted soils will grow a depleted plant that is wiry and not excite to grow big and full. It doesn’t grow big and full because it doesn’t have the vitamins and minerals it needs to do it with. The regular soil is only going to get the plant so far all of the soil amendments are needed to get you the best tomato produce you can.
