In honor of the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, Kari Feinstein’s Style Lounge presented the latest and greatest in clothing, jewelry, electronics, and gadgets in Park City, Utah last weekend. This luxury lounge was the most popular gifting suite at the festival, and guests included Allison Janney, Jena Malone, Natasha Lyonne, AnnaLynne McCord, Adam Scott, Molly Shannon, Sophia Bush, Nick Kroll, Jason Ritter, Penelope Ann Miller, Ralph Garman, Harley Quinn Smith, Mary Stuart Masterson, Joe Jonas, and many more stars.
Craig Robinson (“Weiner Dog”) and Allison Janney (“Tallulah”) had fun snapping a selfie together inbetween checking out the luxury gifts.
Joe Jonas just got a French Bulldog puppy that he shares with a “family friend” and snagged a PetCube wireless camera to keep an eye on him. He was headed to TAO that night.
Adam Scott (“Other People”) and his wife recently adopted a Labradoodle, and also picked up a PetCube so they could keep tabs on it while they are gone. PetCube is a wireless interactive pet camera that allows you to check in on your pet from anywhere.
Jena Malone (“Lovesong”), who is more than halfway through her pregnancy, stopped by with her husband. They chose to announce her pregnancy on Instagram instead of just being shot by paparazzi walking in the street. Jena Malone and Natasha Lyonne were trying on Freed and Freed Luxury Outwear jackets and hats when we left. We had fun talking to the designer/owner Marissa Freed from Canada about her first Sundance.
Soon-to-be dad Nate Parker came by with his pregnant wife (it’s a girl!). He directed and starred in “The Birth of a Nation” that premiered on Monday night. They got an 8-minute standing ovation at the end, and the film was just acquired for $17.5 million from FOX Searchlight (a Sundance record!)
The “Vanderpump Rules” cast dropped by in groups. Stassi Shroeder, Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney, and Tom Schwartz came together. Tom was trying on coats from CMFR, while closing his eyes smiling. He said Jax is weird when he poses for photos. Arianna Madix, Jax Taylor, and Tom Sandoval came later in the day because they had been skiing.
Natasha Lyonne (“Anti-Birth” and “Orange is the New Black”) scooped up a Huawei Smart Watches that were stunning. One of the cool features is that you don’t have to be within range of your smartphone to use it.
It snowed most of the day on Saturday, and many celebrities walked out wearing a pair of new Coolway boots. Writer Laurie Stevens (“Autumn Dreams” Hallmark Channel) wore a hip black pair of new Coolway Women’s Alida Motorcycle Boot out the door.
When we visited the fun Vagabond beach towels, they explained that they donate part of the proceeds for each design to different charities. Their line of luxury bohemian beach and lifestyle brand towels are round, and include fun names such as Spirit, Wildflower, and American Dreamer.
Flying Lizard Designer Vallora Sabourin showed us her line of luxury jewels that can found in the Sundance catalog. She’s been creating exquisite jewelry for the last 20 years, and we loved the blue Opal necklace and earrings.
We also had a lot of fun talking to the founders of Hippebeach, who were giving away their latest line of California casual and cozy apparel, along with hot pink surfboard cookies.
Many thanks to Kari Feinstein and her team for organizing the best celebrity gifting experience at Sundance 2016, again!
