In Chelsea, one of the closing shows of New York Fashion Week was Alex Vinash’s FW/17 Collection “Bullaria”, a collection full of sensuality, class and movement and oh yes, dancers.
They were the show open to Vinash’s spectacular runway inspired by as he put it, “the romance of Mediterranean nights and the sensual strength of the modern day women”.
The collection was signature Vinash; vibrant, flowy, sensual, well-constructed, glamorous, and modern all in one. Each look was a beautiful spectacle for the eyes; his blouses, lace and long dresses, and pants featuring pulled Mediterranean references, as well as what was on trend this fashion week; mixed prints and printed silks. His men’s collection was presented in shared prints as the women’s looks, yet built in their own story.
Alex channels his experience as a former Argentinian ice skating national champion and professional skater to create well-crafted, individualized, high-fashion couture with contemporary fabrics that presents with effortless movement, timeless elegance and uncompromising stage presence.
Piece after piece, Bullaria is a creative and vibrant collection that truly dreams are made of.Learn more about Alex Vinash and all of his collections at www.alexvinash.com.
