NFL Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers stunned his fans on Wednesday by revealing his close personal encounter with a UFO. Rodgers, who was guest on Pete Holmes’ “You Made It Weird” podcast, didn’t talk about his upcoming draft or Peyton Manning’s retirement, but instead about his close encounter with a UFO.
Shortly before Aaron Rodgers was drafted by the Packers, he flew to the East Coast for an interview, and while there, he had the most amazing experience while staying with the family of former Cal teammate Steve Levy. As the NFL star shares on the March 23 EPISODE 310: YOU MADE IT WEIRD, the whole out of this world UFO encounter began with the sound of a siren:
“We were winding down at dinner and then there was a weird siren in the distance, so we go outside — it was a snowy night — and we went outside and it was one of those bright nights, where it’s overcast, but there’s enough light from the moon to see things and the next thing you know, we saw something in the sky,” Rodgers can be heard saying at the 14:40 mark of Wednesday’s 2-hour podcast.
“It was a large orange, left-to-right-moving object. Because of the overcast nature of the night and the snow, you couldn’t make out, it was behind the clouds we were seeing, but it was definitively large in the night sky, moving from left to right,” Rodgers continued. “Again, it was like 12:30 at night here. It was me, Steve, and his brother that saw it.”
“And it goes out of sight and we look at each other and go, ‘What in the f— was that?'” Rodgers recalled. “You could hear it moving. When it had been out of sight for like 30 seconds — and when I say 30 seconds, it felt like five minutes — at the time, we were kind of in shock.”
Aaron Rodger’s close encounter with the UFO took place in 2005, and since then, he has learned quite a bit about those unusual sightings:
“Now, if you know anything about UFO sightings or you’ve done research, you know that a lot of times two things are connected to UFO sightings,” Rodgers added to his UFO story. “One, is the presence of fighter jets. And two, there’s a lot of sightings around nuclear power plants. So to tie it all together, the alarm we heard was from 30 miles out was a nuclear power plant that had an alarm that went off.”
Apparently, Rodgers is not the only source of a UFO sighting near a power plant. According to a January 2015 report by the director of a French nuclear power plant, a UFO had also visited his facility. And when it comes to fighter jets appearing just shortly after a UFO appearance, conspiracy theorists affirm that when it comes to the presence of unidentified flying objects, the government likes to keep that classified.
When Aaron Rogders began talking about his close UFO encounter, he appears hesitant at first. However, once he opens up and begins talking, it is clear that it was an experience that he distinctly remembers – even though it was 11 years ago.
