Harper’s BAZAAR Spring 2016 makeup again features bronze skin but there are other ideas on the horizon. We’ve seen lots of winged eyeliner from heavily exaggerated to wispy wiggles out the side. Candy apple red lips are back with a furor; they can morph into vampire blood red or almost brown-black. Brown eye shadow and a bare minimum makeup look is on the outs. At the other end of the spectrum are charcoal smoky eyes and we see electric blue and pinks (sunset) as a favorite shadow, but white or colored eyeliner is a takeaway. False eyelashes and glittery shadows or colors that pop are in.
While more women are using bronzer, lots of makeup sets now emphasize shading and learning how to make contours and highlights. Allure has some how-to on that.

We received some samples of a new cosmetic—Younique Moodstruck Opulence Lipsticks and Moodstruck Precision Brow Liner and Brow Gel just recently and have some ideas on each product we tested:
The dark lipstick went on easily and stayed true. When lipstick is this intense, you might want to blot and apply again.
The Younique brow liner pencil is made for precise application as the lead is super thin. You can make individual hair strokes and blend them with the spoolie end.
When finished, apply the fiber brow gel to blend upwards.
Tip: if you use more than one color, it looks more realistic.
Products cost around $19.
Overall we like the products but gave them four stars because we thought the brow products were small in quantity.
