“48 Hours” is an investigative program that covers crime & murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported & narrated by Erin Moriarty.
“Murder 90210” opened with Robert Durst ready to be extradited to California with the murder of Susan Berman who was his friend. She was shot in the back of the head with a 9 millimeter gun. Robert’s first wife Kathleen mysteriously disappeared back in 1982. He was also charged with killing his neighbor in Texas, but was found “not guilty.”
The Durst family controls a real estate empire worth one billion dollars. Robert is the black sheep of the family. HBO produced a documentary in 2015 called, “The Jinx: the life and deaths of Robert Durst.” Producers heard him say that he, “killed them all” without knowing a microphone was still attached to him. Robert claimed that he put Kathleen on a train which was the last time he saw her in January of 1982.
Kathleen was pronounced legally dead and Robert divorced her by 2004. A district attorney re-opened the missing case and then he disappeared. Robert was like-a-brother to Susan Berman, but he was seen incriminating himself in that documentary in her death.
