The all-new 2016 Nissan Maxima 4-Door Sports Car (4DSC) has been nothing short of WOW since it debuted in early 2015 – impressing automotive media and, more importantly, drivers since it went on sale this past summer. At its introduction last summer, Nissan, offered a limited production Maxima Midnight accessories package that was an immediate hit and, now, Nissan has announced they are making it a factory installed option.
The Midnight Edition collection of aggressive new appearance features is offered only on the sporty Maxima SR model and is available on five color combinations of Maxima – Super Black, Pearl White, Brilliant Silver, Coulis Red or Deep Blue Pearl – all with Charcoal leather-appointed interior.
“Customer response to our limited production Maxima ‘Midnight’ accessories package last summer was so strong, we’ve now made it a factory installed option – and we’re launching it at a $1,000 discount versus what it would cost to order and install the features individually,” said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations. “This special edition combines a more aggressive look with an affordable price, taking the popular SR grade level to an even higher level as enthusiasts’ favorite Maxima.”
The Maxima SR Midnight Edition package includes:
• Charcoal premium leather-appointed interior with Alcantara seat inserts
• Black rear sport spoiler
• Black rear bumper diffuser
• 19-inch black aluminum-alloy wheels
It is priced at $1,195 over the Maxima SR model’s $37,770 starting MSRP and it immediately available for order.
